Building my credit score from scratch?

hi

hooray!, i"m no longer an illegal alien, ... just got my immigrations clearances and my social last week.

Now I would like to start building my credit rating and would like to know where to start.

I do know that credit application stay on record for two years, so i don't want to start an application rampage which would more damage my unexciting score that anything else.

So there's my question: Where could i apply for my first card with a quasi 100% chance to be approved? And of course all other advise would be highly appreciated.

Thank you|||Get a credit card from local bank and pay it in time. You also can use this service to avoid common mistakes while buiding credit and pre-estimate future scores for different scenarios of payments - credit-report-score.10001mb.com|||There is a credit card called Classic Public Savings Visa Credit Card...

You just need to be 18 or over and a legal resident...no income requirements, and no employment requirements.

You put in a security deposit (minimum $200) in the card first, then you can spend as much as you put in the card. But it's not a debit card.|||Get a secured credit card. If you have a bank account, ask at your bank if they offer this.

You can also try Capital One. If you meet their income requirements, you may be able to get a card with a low limit.
