If you are under 18, just get a parent to open an account with you.
Plenty of banks have 100% free checking.
Look for credit unions or small regional banks|||you get a damn checking account at a real bank in your neighborhood.
EVERY bank has some version of a free account.
The debit card comes with it.
And many have no fees at all.
THIS is why our schools need to teach financial literacy.
