How long does it take to refund a debit card for a canceled transaction?

I was charged the incorrect amount on my prepaid debit two days ago. How long till the money is replaced on my card?|||48hours is a long time, but depends on your system. In Canada we use Interac which offers instant refunds. You should visit the store, or call the bank to see if the transaction has been processed or not.
